Take a custom cake order with a photo

Steps

1. Add the cake product and choose the size (variation).
2. Add modifiers: flavour, filling, frosting, fondant, flowers, figures — each with its own price.
3. In the order notes, type the inscription exactly as it should be piped, and any allergy notes.
4. Attach the customer’s reference photo or sketch to the order.
5. Set the pickup date and time, take the deposit, and save.

For the decorator

On the bake day, the cake appears on the decorating station’s production list. Open the order on the kitchen tablet to see the notes and the attached photo.

Tips

• Read the inscription back to the customer before saving.
• Set a design-lock date in your policy (for example 48 hours before pickup).
