1. The agreement
These terms apply when you use getbakerypos.com and when your business subscribes to GetBakeryPOS. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your business. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
GetBakeryPOS is hosted point-of-sale software for bakeries, with an online store generated from your catalogue, and optional services: a managed website and the Bakery Bundle (POS, managed website and a marketing CRM setup). Features per plan are listed on the pricing page.
3. Free trial
New accounts get a 30-day free trial without a payment card. At the end of the trial, choose a plan to continue; otherwise the account pauses and data is kept for 30 days.
4. Prices and billing
Prices are per location per month, in USD (plus applicable sales tax), AED (including 5% VAT) or PKR (plus applicable sales tax), as published on the pricing page. Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
5. No long-term contract
You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See the refund and cancellation policy.
6. Card payments
We do not process your customers’ card payments. They run through the payment processor you choose, under your agreement with that processor.
7. Your data
You own the data you put into GetBakeryPOS. You are responsible for having the right to store your customers’ data and for following the laws that apply to your business (tax, food labelling, consumer rules). You can export your data at any time.
8. Acceptable use
- Use the service lawfully, for your business.
- Don’t attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer it.
- Keep your logins secure and give each staff member their own.
9. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available at all times, with planned maintenance outside normal trading hours where possible. The service needs an internet connection. Support is provided by email, WhatsApp and screen share during business hours.
10. Liability
The service is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend accounts for non-payment after notice, or immediately for serious misuse. On termination you can export your data for 30 days.
12. Governing law
The governing law and venue will match the contracting entity for your market, published at launch. Consumer protections that apply to you by law are not affected.
