Square’s free plan costs nothing per month but takes processing on every card sale. GetBakeryPOS charges a monthly fee and no processing cut, because you use your own processor. For a bakery with steady card volume and many pre-orders, the total is often lower, but compare with your own numbers in the savings calculator.
Square readers only work with Square’s own software. With GetBakeryPOS you use a terminal from your own processor.
You can take partial payments with Square invoices or online orders, but deposits are not tied to a pickup day and a production list the way they are in GetBakeryPOS.

If you take Rosca and pan de muerto pre-orders and want staff screens in Spanish, GetBakeryPOS is built for that. If you mostly sell from the case with card payments, Square is simpler.
Not at the time of checking. GetBakeryPOS is sold and supported in the UAE and Pakistan with local prices.
