Feature questions
What features does a bakery POS need?
Beyond taking payment: pre-orders with deposits, custom cake orders, selling by weight, a daily production list, lot and expiry tracking, recipe costing, and an online store. Everything else (reports, staff permissions, loyalty) is standard POS.
Are all features included, or are they add-ons?
They are included in plans, not sold one by one. Counter has the counter essentials; Bakehouse adds custom cakes, production, recipes and expiry; Commissary adds multi-location, wholesale and API. The table on this page shows exactly which.
Can I take kitchen tickets for café items?
Yes. If you serve coffee and sandwiches, orders can go to a kitchen screen or printer with modifiers (milk, size, extra shot).
Does it do gift cards?
Gift cards and vouchers are handled as a custom payment method and customer advance balance; ask on the demo to see the setup that fits.
Is there a mobile app?
The POS runs in any modern browser on tablets and phones, and there is a mobile app for owners to check sales and stock.
Does it connect to WooCommerce or my accounting?
WooCommerce sync and an API are available on Commissary. Accounting is built in for day-to-day books; exports work with your accountant’s tools. Other integrations are planned — ask on your demo.
Which card processors work?
Card payments run through your own processor and terminal. We do not process payments or take a percentage. Ask on the demo about your processor.
Does it work with delivery apps?
Not directly today. Delivery-app orders can be entered as sales; direct integrations are on the planned list — ask on your demo.
No question matches that. Try another word, or ask us on the demo.
