How it works
How to set up a bakery POS, minute by minute.
Self-serve and hosted for you: sign up, add your shop, add your products, start selling. Your online store is generated on the way. Here is how long each part honestly takes.
About 42 minutes to your first sale, with a product spreadsheet ready.
The four steps
What exactly happens in each step?
2 minStep 1
Sign up and create your bakery
- Business name, country and currency (USD, AED or PKR)
- Time zone, date format and the language of your screens
- Tax rates: sales tax, 5% VAT or GST as tax groups
- No card and nothing to install
10 minStep 2
Add your shop, registers and staff
- The location with its address and receipt header
- Registers (the tablets or PCs at the counter) and cash drawers
- Staff logins with roles: counter, baker, decorator, manager
- Receipt footer with your deposit policy
30 minStep 3
Add your products
- Import a CSV, or add items by hand
- Sizes as variations, fillings as modifiers
- Weighed items with scale codes
- Photos now or later — the store updates when you add them
About 30 minutes for a 60-item case with a CSV; longer if you photograph everything first.
instantStep 4
Open the register — and the store
- Ring the first sale and print a receipt
- Your online store is already generated from the catalogue
- Share its link on Instagram, Google and WhatsApp
- Take the first pre-order with a deposit
Generated from the catalogue as you save products.
Your first week
What should I do in my first week?
The hour gets you selling. The week gets you running the bakery on it. One small job a day, during the quiet afternoon.
- Day 1
Account, shop, staff, products. First test sales.
- Day 2
Connect printer, scanner and cash drawer. Print shelf labels.
- Day 3
Map your scale barcodes; weigh and scan a few items.
- Day 4
Set par levels; print tomorrow’s production list.
- Day 5
Turn on online pre-orders for next week.
- Day 6–7
Run a weekend on it. Note questions for support.

What do you need before you start?
A list of products and prices — a spreadsheet, a menu photo, or your old POS export.
A tablet, laptop or PC at the counter. Printer and drawer can come later.
Your tax rate and how you show prices (with or without tax).
The names and roles of your staff.
Setup questions
How long does it take to set up a bakery POS?
About 42 minutes for a bakery with around sixty products and a spreadsheet of them: 2 minutes to sign up, 10 to add the shop and staff, about 30 for products. Photos, scales and par levels take longer — spread them over your first week.
Do I need a technician?
No. Everything is in the browser. Printers, scanners and cash drawers plug into the counter device; we help on a screen share if needed.
What do I need before I start?
A list of your products and prices (a spreadsheet is ideal), your tax rate, the names of your staff, and the device you will sell on. That is enough for day one.
Can you import my products for me?
Yes, free. Send us your export or a spreadsheet and we will import it during your trial. See switching.
When does my online store go live?
As soon as you have products saved. Choose what to show online and which pickup dates to allow, then share the link.
Do I need a website first?
No. The store is generated for you. If you want a designed website as well, see the managed website.
What happens when the trial ends?
After 30 days you pick a plan and add a card. If you don’t, the account pauses and your data is kept for 30 days in case you come back.
