Turn on lot numbers and expiry dates

Steps

1. In Settings → Business settings → Product, enable lot numbers and expiry dates.
2. Choose what happens to expired stock: stop selling or allow with a warning.
3. On each product with a shelf life, set the expiry period (days, months).
4. When you record production or receive a delivery, enter the lot number; the expiry date fills in.
5. Use label printing to put the lot and date on boxes.

Daily routine

Check the stock expiry report each morning: mark down what’s near its date, write off what’s past it.
